Treating Eczema - Eczema-Free.org
Go Back to Free Eczema Article IndexTreating eczema is easier then you might think. As someone who dealt with the disease for over twenty years, I began to think at one point that all treatments were worthless. The fact is, most of the treatments your doctor may recommend are worthless. This is because they only treat symptoms of eczema, not the overall cause. If you’ve been searching for a working treatment then continue reading and I will fill you in on the details.
So what is eczema exactly? It is skin inflammation that they are now saying is caused by the things we breathe, or at least sixty five percent of eczema cases are related to inhalant allergies. Twenty five percent is related to contact allergy such as the soaps for our laundry or to wash ourselves. And while diet only causes about five percent of the eczema cases reported, it can play a crucial role in defeating the disease.
The key to treating eczema is using our diet to change the way our body rids itself of the toxins mentioned above. You see, our skin works like a giant filter, keeping things from getting into our body, as well as expelling the things that our body has deemed toxic. If we change the pathway for these toxins we want to expel, then our skin no longer defends itself by releasing histamines. The overall result: no more eczema outbreaks. This is how I have maintained eczema free for the past year, and how you can finally beat the disease too!
I highly recommend reading Beat Eczema by: Susan Clark. Her guide to detoxifying the body has been played a major role in successfully helping me win the battle with facial eczema. She provides the eczema support you need to begin treating eczema the right way.
