Facial Eczema - Eczema-Free.org
Go Back to Free Eczema Article IndexFacial eczema is not just embarrassing, it is downright annoying and at times it is even painful. As a child with facial eczema I only knew the discomfort, but as I grew older, the embarrassment of having a near constant rash on my face became so frustrating that I would have done anything to rid myself of it. I tried just about every eczema treatment available, including a large variety of creams and lotions “guaranteed” to help. None of them did, or at least not for any significant amount of time. It wasn’t until I decided to treat the cause of the disease instead of just the symptoms that I was able to rid myself of eczema completely. I’m going to share with you my story, and the treatment I used to finally overcome the disease.
If you feel like you are alone in your struggle with eczema, know that there are millions of individuals that struggle with the disease the same way you do. Most of them lack the knowledge to successfully treat the disease. And that is mostly because modern medicine is still only targeting symptoms. In fact, most doctors are still prescribing a variety of steroid and non steroid creams to help stop the itch. But that does not get to the root of the problem. You eczema is most likely caused by allergens or toxins within your body. Ridding yourself of these toxins is the first step in becoming eczema free.
I struggled with the concept of treating the symptoms but not the cause for over 20 years. With every new steroid I was prescribed I asked myself why is the doctor using the same treatment over and over again, I know it doesn’t work. A little over a year ago I stumbled upon some information that helped me treat the cause of the disease, inhalant allergy. I haven’t had an outbreak of facial eczema since I helped my body expel the toxins that were causing my outbreaks.
The true treatment for eczema is actually quite simple. I asked my doctor to perform a blood allergy test to help determine the things I’m most allergic to, including inhalant, contact and food allergies. I then used a variety of detoxifying foods and supplements to help my body expel them through means other than my skin. Since you skin acts like a filter for toxins, your body’s natural defense is to release histamines and hence you have outbreaks. If you manage to find other ways to get rid of these toxins, then your facial eczema will become a thing of the past.
I highly recommend reading Beat Eczema by: Susan Clark. Her guide to detoxifying the body has been played a major role in successfully helping me win the battle with facial eczema. She provides the eczema support you need to treat the facial eczema.
