Eczema acne is characterized by inflammation of skin leading to clogged pores leading to outbreaks of pimples, blackheads and whiteheads.  As eczema over dries skin, this can lead to uncontrollable problems that don't seem to resolve with normal treatment.

Here are a few tips to help with eczema related acne:

As with most forms of acne, over washing results in over drying of skin.  So, a twice daily wash is ok, but only with mild soap. If skin appears to dry at twice daily, then reduce to once daily or every other day. Do not use harsh astringents or alcohol.  Try this eczema soap suggested by an eczema-free user:

Face Doctor Complexion Soap

Moisturizing is key.  While washing twice daily is plenty, moisturizing up to three times may help.  You may consider using this moisturizer, recommended by eczema-free users:

 Pen-Kera Rich Therapeutic Cream

In addition to these suggestions, we highly recommend reading Beat Eczema by: Susan Clark.  Her guide to detoxifying the body has been reported successful in helping with eczema related acne.
