Child Eczema - Eczema-Free.org
Go Back to Free Eczema Article IndexChild eczema is one of the most devastating forms of the ugly beast. If your child has been dealing with it then you know how destructive it can be to your child’s life. When I was first diagnosed with eczema I was only 7 years old. At the time, the standard treatment was much the same as it today. I was given both oral steroids as well as a cream to help with the itching and inflammation. Of course this did little to treat the cause of the disease. While the standard for treatment may be similar today, we do know more about the cause and if you truly want to help your child pay attention.
Eczema is caused by allergy. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. I know because I finally beat the disease without the use of any steroids, creams, or other outdated treatment. I beat the disease because I know that inhalant allergy is the primary cause, and therefore the primary solution is detoxifying the body and maintaining toxin free surroundings. This may sound a little over simplified, and that’s because it is.
I use a combination of diet, exercise and a few extra supplements to maintain my eczema free lifestyle. The key is to know the proper proportions of what to take and when to take it. It’s not rocket science, it’s more common sense. And the beauty of treating either adult or child eczema this way is that once you have managed to get it under control, it will not reoccur.
I highly recommend reading Beat Eczema by: Susan Clark. Her guide to detoxifying the body has been reported successful in helping with dermatitis eczema.
